A downloadable game for Windows
Ascend is a difficult action-roguelike where you collect synergistic runes to supercharge your character. Explore different rooms, defeat various enemies and bosses, and gather upgrades to grow your strength.

-----Controls-----
WASD or Arrow Keys ---> move
Left Click ---> shoot
Right Click ---> shoot a burst
hold (Spacebar and Left Click) ---> frenzy (rapid fire shooting)
Esc or P ---> pause
Tab ---> toggle minimap extension
Download
Install instructions
-Find the downloaded file where you downloaded it (often your downloads folder)
-Select the downloaded file (Ascend 1.7.1.zip)
-Click "Extract All" in the toolbar above the file
-Choose a convenient place to extract to (like your desktop)
-Extract the files to that destination you chose
-Open the newly created folder (Ascend 1.7.1)
-Double-Click on the file named "Ascend" or "Ascend.exe"

Honestly a pretty cool game! Had lots of fun with it, got frustrated at times but still a good experience. Nice one! I'll definitely keep playing as you update the game more and more.
